WTA Korea Open, 07:00 – Kr Pliskova v Voegele
Both have been poor recently in singles although Pliskova will maybe take some confidence from the doubles title with her sister last week.
If Voegele was in form then 1.56 would be a decent price on her but she isn’t. I expect a few price swings in this one and I’d be surprised if that price doesn’t trade a lot higher.
Voegele should take it in a scrappy match.
WTA Guangzhou Open, 09:00 – Lisicki v Dellacqua
Lisicki won the title last week with the final being very emotional. She came back from 1-5 in the opening set to take the match in straight sets.
Dellacqua made the 4th round of the US Open and looks to have finally got some confidence back.
I’m not sure how much Lisicki will care about this match and at 1.36 she has to be worth a lay.
WTA Tokyo Open, 11:00 – Errani v Erakovic
Errani is playing her first match since the US Open where she reached the quarter finals. Erakovic has won through three qualifying rounds to get to the main draw although she was strong favourite in each one.
Errani reached the quarter finals in 2012 although lost to Kuznetsova in the first round last season.
Erakovic has had the occasional good week, her last being a semi final in Washington. Over all though it hasn’t been a great season for her.
I have to go with Errani for this one. She starts at 1.62 and i think we will get a bit higher during the first few games. An early break for Erakovic would be nice to give a healthier entry on Errani.
