ATP Swiss Open, 9:30 – Delbonis starts at 1.44 against Dustin Brown.
Brown has had some good results this season but remains as unpredictable as ever. Having beaten Verdasco last week he managed to win just 3 games from Andujar.
Delbonis reached the quarter finals of the Mercedes Cup but then came up against an inspired Kamke last week.
I have to go with Delbonis on clay but I don’t like his Sp at all. I am sure we get a better entry on him in the early games and I will wait for 1.60 or better.
WTA Baku Cup, 12:00 – I thought Pamentier had retired but she keep popping back up. She is up against Dulgheru today.
Dulgheru starts as the market favourite at 1.70 which is probably the right price. A concern with her is that she retired from her third round match last week.
Parmentier reached the 4th round of the French Open so is still capable of giving a strong performance at any time.
Dulgheru has the better hard court stats so I will be going with her but will wait for a price above evens.
ATP Umag, 19:00 – Lorenzi and Carreno Busta have played 3 times on clay and Carreno Busta won each time in straight sets. The most recent was in Sweden 2 weeks ago.
Lorenzi has lost his way a little recently. He has been doing ok in the Challenger clay events until he comes up against strong opposition.
Carreno Busta won a couple of Challenger events on clay in June and reached the quarter finals in Bastad.
1.49 doesn’t seem a bad price and I will have part stake on Carreno Busta from the start. I will add the rest if his price goes above 1.75 .
