WTA Kremlin Cup, 18:30 – Gasparyan v Pavlyuchenkova
When will Pavlyuchenkova run out of steam? Extra motivation for her this week in her home country to defend the title. Winning the title last week hasn’t left her with a lot of energy. She has looked tired in her last 2 matches but fought well.
Gasparyan often fails to compete against strong opposition but she has done well in the last 2 tournaments beating Giorgi and Mladenovic.
If Pavlyuchenkova is running low on gas Gasparyan has a chance.
Lay Pavlyuchenkova if she breaks first.
ATP Kremlin Cup, 18:00 – Kuznetsov v Kukushkin
Kukushkin won their only previous meeting. That was in 2008 on a hard court and he won in straight sets.
He has pulled out of the doubles though I am not sure of the reason.
Kuznetsov served fairly well to beat Albot in straight sets.He was broken just once.
I think this will be closer than prices suggest. Lay Kukushkin if he breaks first.
