WTA Guangzhou International Women’s Open, 11:00 – Allertova v Errani

Allertova beat Halep in straight sets. Halep was well below par and had one of her nightmare serving matches. Allertova was very aggressive though and deserved the win. She hasn’t dropped a set yet.

Errani finally had a straight sets win in a match I felt she could easily lose. She has played Chinese players in every round and needed 3 sets in the first 2. She lost just 1 game to Zheng in the last round.

How will Allertova react to her win? I think she won’t have had much sleep last night!

Back Errani when she gets broken first.

ATP Moselle Open, 17:00 – Tsonga v Mahut

Tsonga won all 3 of their previous meetings. The most recent was in February 2012 on an indoor hard court. He won in straight sets.

Tsonga has a good record in this event. He needed 3 sets in his 1st round match which was his first since the US Open. He faced 8 break points but was broken just twice.

Mahut wasn’t broken in his match with Mannarino but lost the second set in a tie break.

This match will be very close with few breaks.  I expect at least 1 tie break.

No value on Tsonga at 1.29. Back him  if he gets broken and then Mahut holds.
