ATP Swiss Open, 13:30 – Nadal v Gasquet

Nadal  leads 13-1. Gasquet won their first meeting in 2003.

Nadal was a set and a break down against Cilic but came back to win in 3 sets. He has needed 3 sets in all his matches so far. He lost the opening sets to Cilic and Rosol.

Gasquet also needed 3 sets and won the decider in a tie break over Karlovic. He has gone to a deciding set in 2 of his 3 matches.

Gasquet has been serving well and could take this to tie breaks. I’m not sure if he believes he can beat Nadal though.

Back Nadal if he gets broken first or loses the first set.

ATP Valencia Open, 19:00 – Bautista Agut v Johnson

Bautista Agut has won all 3 of their previous matches. All 3 were last season with  2 being on a hard court.

Johnson is playing at a high level recently and has given up significantly fewer break chances this week. A concern is his fitness levels as he played the final last week.

I think this goes to 3 sets and the value is on Johnson.

Lay Bautista Agut below 1.35 .
