Due to start at midnight
Garin 2.50, Ramos 1.65
Ramos won their only previous meeting. That was on clay in July 2014. He won in straight sets in the qualifying rounds in Bastad, Sweden.
It was a terrible 2018 season for Ramos winning just 38% of his matches. He has lost his 3 matches in 2019. Even on clay last season he only won 48% of matches. He actually started the year fairly well with a final in Quito, Ecuador and he reached the third rounds in Rome and at the French Open. Those were his only real highlights.
Garin has an excellent clay record. He has won 72% of his matches in the last 12 months and won 9 of his last 10. He ended last season with 3 clay Challenger titles in October.
The value is on Garin as underdog. Ramos will find better form soon but I can’t back him until we see some improvement.
Lay Ramos around 1.50.
