Youzhny has come through qualifying but Zverev should come out on top
Due to start at 2 pm
Youzhny 2.46. Zverev 1.64
Zverev won their only previous meeting. That was back in October 2008 on an indoor court in St Petersburg. He won in straight sets.
Overall results slightly favour Youzhny in the last 12 months and in 2018. This season Youzhny won 11 of his 26 matches (42%). Zverev won 10 of 27 (37%).
Zverev’s grass results are better although in the last 12 months he only has 1 more win on grass than his opponent. He made the semi finals of this tournament last season and also reached the third round at Wimbledon.
Youzhny has come through the qualifying rounds this week. Both his wins were over players outside the top 240. Last week he lost in the first round of the Surbiton Challenger on grass to American Kevin King.
Back Zverev above 1.85.
