Anderson has won both his matches this week in 2 sets. He has not even faced a break point yet. His first match was against Dominic Thiem. Both sets were close and he won their second set tie break 12-10. In his last match he was up against Kei Nishikori who had beaten him in Paris two weeks ago. He lost just 1 game.

Kevin Anderson
Kevin Anderson can give Federer some problems tonight

Federer has not been at his very best in recent weeks. He was still able to win the title in Basel and then make the semi finals in Paris the following week. He lost his first match of the week to Nishikori in straight sets.  He really needed a win over Thiem in the last match and he came through comfortably without facing a break point.

Anderson has been impressive and we have real value on him today. I expect him to take at least a set. Lay Federer around 1.30 and remove liability at 1.60
