09:00 – Kuznetsova v Petrova
Rankings are 6 and 17. Head to heads are 4-1 to Kuznetsova.
Petrova has a little more chance on a hard court so she may make a game of this but Kuznetsova is a strong favourite.
Petrova has beaten Serena Williams this week although the American doesn’t travel well to the far East.
Use 15-40 and if Kuznetsova takes a lead let a back bet run to the end of the set.
Update: Because Kuznetsova was a very strong favourite you can sometimes afford to take a risk on just one point. Se had come back from15-40 down against Petrova’s first service game to have a break point. I backed her and she completed the break. I then backed her again ( as in the wait for the break method). She held on easily to take the set 6-1. I placed a lay to green up the profit at 1.07 which wasn’t actually matched until 40-40 in the first game of the 2nd set.
Kuznetsova won the closer second set 6-3.
12:00 – Bartoli v Radwanska
Rankings are 13 and 11 and head to heads are 3-0 to Radwanska.
Both women have had some tough matches so far with Bartoli taking a 3 set victory in the quarter final where she was the underdog. Rawanska beat Demetieva in straight sets.
Radwanska is a definate favourite but if Bartoli can keep her performance up to yesterday’s level she is in with a great chance.
Could be very close. Another one for the 15-40 method.
