Kiefer v Kubot
The market had Kiefer favourite at 1.55 but he is in for a tough match. Rankings are 40 and 127 but Kubot has had some great results recently including beating Karlovic in the semis of the Serbian open and took Djokovic to a tie break in the second set of the final.
Keifer’s season has been spectacularly unspectacular! I can see a possible upset here with Kubot going through in 3 sets or 2 close ones.
Recommend scalping this one incase I am wrong. There could be a few decent price swings 🙂
Update: Kubot had beaten Kohlschreiber in the last round in 2 sets. WHAT IN GOD’S NAME WAS HE DOING TODAY??? Keifer looked half asleep for most of the match but who can blame him? I was nodding off myself. He won 6-2, 6-1. A large part of Kubot’s game is his serve and it was very very poor today. But even worse was that he just didn’t seem interested. He looked tired and lacking in motivation. Didn’t his coach tell him it was the Quarter Final??
Well, hopefully you stayed awake long enough to take my recommendation to scalp this one.
