15:30 – Davydenko v Nadal
Rankings are 7 and 2. Head to heads are 4-4.
Davydenko seems to have worked out recently how to beat the top 2. He put out Federer in the semi and he would be my slight favourite to beat Nadal today. He is just so consistent he wears his opponents down.
Nadal has looked impressive though this week but I feel he is still short of his best form.
DO NOT use 15-40 on this game. Backing Davydenko on his serve is an option. If you back Nadal on his service games, sit out the first 1 or 2 as this is often where he slips up.
Expect a very tight match and possible 3 setter. Trade with care as the price movements if it is as close as I expect will be huge.

Update: I don’t think anyone could have predicted the opening set. Nadal got off to a flyer and sailed through 6-0. Davydenko seemed to have no answer to Nadal’s aggressive play.
The second set was much closer and Davy was 5-4 up and serving. Nadal broke back and the set went into a tie break. Davydenko won it to level the match.
In the deciding set Nadal got an early break and led 4-2. But Davydenko broke back and the match was heading to another tie break. Davydenko was 5-4 up with Nadal serving. He led 40-15 and completed the break for a great win.
Davy won 0-6, 7-6, 6-4
