So Kohlschreiber started his match yesterday with one of the worst service games of the day. The match was suspended for rain with him trailing by 3 games to 0. So now he has lost a day. If he wins this match he will have to play Rosol later today. Perhaps as he is here today anyway he may try to get a few extra ranking points and then throw the Rosol match. Of course we have no way of knowing what his plans are. It doesn’t stop people debating it though!
I don’t think the weather forecast is too good for Austria again today.
Ramos looks short against Volandri at 1.32 as Volandri has already played one match this week. I’d expect ramos to take the match but will be waiting for a higher price in the first few games.
Bolelli’s price has been pushed lower due to his win over Florian Mayer yesterday in straight sets. Klizan’s mind will be on the Olympics even though he obviously has no chance there. Klizan has better stats is just about every category. However Bolelli’s recent form looks strong. I’m not sure that the price is right. It just feels wrong so will be watching the opening couple of games to gauge how they’re playing. I would expect Bolelli to edge it though.
In the Farmer’s Classic Kamke is underdog against Matosevic but he showed some good form to beat Blake in three sets. Matosevic hasn’t been in the most consistent form. Kamke has a great chance of a win there and i certainly feel he will trade lower.
Malisse has a poor record in this event having lost 5 of his last 6. However he has enough talent to beat an average Ebden if he sets his mind to it. Ebden loves the hard courts and if Malisse starts to wobble as he did in the first round the Aussie may take a set.
