I am running late this morning due to so many matches and getting the Shark Tips and wins a set selections done for subscribers. I will add some trading picks on here when I get a gap between matches.

Good grief there are some shite prices out there today!

Delbonis is back on court after his huge disappointment of missing 3 championship points against Fognini on Sunday. One point in particular where he had an “easy” volley at the net must surely have cost him sleep over the last couple of days. If things go as they should then he will not be too interested in today’s match but how often do things go as they should in tennis?

Bellucci is obviously a very capable opponent on the clay and the market is assuming Delbonis won’t be up for this one. I don’t see fatigue being an issue for Delbonis. he is a young guy. His biggest potential problem is that he has beat himself up for not taking those chances in  the final after a fantastic week that saw him beat Federer and Verdasco. The effect on him was immediate as he didn’t compete well mentally in the third set of the final.

This is one to watch. if Delbonis looks sharp then he is a great price. If he looks lethargic the lethargy is in his mind and the match is Bellucci’s to take.

Update: Delbonis won 7-5, 7-6.

Hanescu should be too strong for Dustin Brown on a clay court. I need a higher price than 1.45 ( this will be a theme of the post).

Update: Hanescu won in 2 sets but came so close to losing the firsts et tie break. He won 7-6, 6-2.

Robredo copped some real criticism for losing to Delbonis last week but in fact he did rather better than most of the others including Federer. Too low at 1.36 against Hajek but 1.65 and I’m interested. Obviously if he comes out on a mobility scooter he’s probably not a good option even against Hajek.

Update: Robredo won 6-3, 6-2.

Brands also fits this pattern. Wait for a higher price but he should get the win.

Update: Brands won but made hard work of it. 6-3, 3-6, 6-2.

This evening Donskoy is perhaps a little low but isn’t a terrible price at 1.80 against Ram. I’d prefer to be laying Ram below 1.70 though. The American may well start stronger as he will have the home support but hopefully he will soon remember he is pretty poor generally.

Update: Donskoy won 6-3, 6-4.

Jack Sock looks a decent pick tonight against Giraldo who hasn’t had a lot of time to travel and get settled after his quarter final in Colombia last week.

Giraldo won their only previous match which was in Indian Wells last year but Sock has improved a lot since then and was a Wild Card ranked 334 for that 3 set win for Giraldo.

Update: Giraldo won 7-5, 6-4.
