If I never see another paint brush it will be too soon. Plus today we were moving the furniture. So I have my new office. I just don’t have the energy to put my new desk together. Maybe when I have had a break for an hour while I catch up with emails and stuff I will get a second wind.
The majority of games today don’t look like they will give many opportunities at first glance although ofcourse we can never be certain. Djokovic, Ferrer, Del P, Roddick and Gasquet shouldn’t be troubled although waiting for higher prices is probably the way to go. Azarenka can always start slowly although she hasn’t done so far this week.
Potentially the match of the day and certainly the one I am looking forward to is Laura Robson against Sam Stosur. Robson has so far taken out Clijsters and Na Li and whilst Stosur has looked fairly solid so far her confidence is so fragile at times and if the Brit can serve big as she has been doing she has a great chance today. The fourth round of a Slam is already a huge achievement for her. Wouldn’t it be funny if she won a Slam before Murray!
Bartoli has beaten Kvitova twice before although Kvitova has won their last 2 matches. May be worth a lay of Kvitova at 1.24 although the Czech player seems to be on a mission at the moment.
Kohlschreiber isn’t at his best at the moment as was demonstrated by needing 5th set tie break to get past Paire. He also needed 4 sets to get past Llodra. Isner won the tournament last week so may be feeling a little fatigue but his serve has been reliable enough so far. Kohlschreiber has never beaten the American but has taken him to 3 sets each time. In 2 of the 3 matches Kohlschreiber took the opening set. The other opening set was a tie break. Normally I would suggest laying Isner but on this occasion I will be waiting for 1.60 to 1.70 before backing him.
