Cepelova has won both their previous meetings. They last met in April 2016 in Charleston. She won in 3 sets having lost the first set.
Sevastova’s overall results this year are much stronger. Her clay results are also a little better. She has not played on clay since her 3rd round finish at the French Open in May. She had a decent grass season taking the title in
Mallorca. She lost in the second round at Wimbledon to Heather Watson.
Cepelova won the title in an ITF clay tournament last week. In April she reached the semi finals in Istanbul losing to Svitolina.
We have some value on Cepelova as Sevastova is too low. Back Sevastova if she gets broken
