This is the first time they have played.
Both are having a great season. Rybarikova has been playing ITF tournaments to try to sort her game out. She has had some success on grass, carpet and hard courts in 2017.
Ahn has done well on clay, hard courts and grass this year. She also
plays mainly ITF tournaments.
On grass Rybarikova won all 7 of her grass matches this year. Ahn won 8 of 10.
Rybarikova was in control against Riske in the last round . She served for the match at 5-3 in set 2 but was broken and lost the set in a tie break. She was 1-3 down in the third set but fought back to win.
Ahn has come through the qualifying rounds and has not dropped a set so far.
This could be a tight match and 3 sets won’t be a surprise at all. The value on Ahn. Back Rybarikova if she gets broken
