WTA Tour Finals, 10:30 – Radwanska v Kvitova
Kvitova leads their matches 6-2. She won their only 2015 meeting on a hard court in 2 sets.
Radwanska’s 2 wins both came at the year end finals (2014, 2012).
This isn’t the final that we expected. Sharapova and Muguruza were both unbeaten in the Round Robin stages. Both Sharapova and Muguruza looked tired in their semi finals.
Radwanska has played well in all her matches and I think she takes it to a third set.
Hopefully the semi final wasn’t the match where Kvitova peaked but I am going with her to win.
Back Kvitova above 2.00
ATP Swiss Open, 13:30 – Federer v Nadal
Nadal leads their previous meetings 25-10. They haven’t played since the Australian Open 2014 which Nadal won.
This is Federer’s tournament and he has a great record in Basel. 1.38 seems way too low even though he hasn’t dropped a set so far..
Nadal needs to look after his serve a lot better than he has done so far this week. The only round that didn’t go to a deciding set was the semi final against Gasquet. Even so, Gasquet was a break ahead in both sets. I think as he is playing Federer he will raise his game and take this match to 3 sets.
Back Federer if he is broken first.
