WTA Hobart International: Kudermetova v Muguruza

Veronika Kudermetova 2.18, Garbine Muguruza 1.82

Due to start at 7 am.

This will be their first meeting.

Better overall results for Kudermetova in the last year. Her hard court results are also a little better in the same period. She comfortably beat Sam Stosur in the 1st round. She had a tough 1st set with Catherine Bellis in the last round but Bellis ran out of energy in set 2.

Muguruza lost the 1st set to Ons Jabeur in the last round and needed a 3rd set tie break to get the win. She hit 7 double faults. She was broken 5 times. She reached the semi finals last week in Shenzhen but was less than convincing in a couple of her matches.

We have some value on Kudermetova. There is a very good chance that this goes to 3 sets. Lay Muguruza around 1.50 to 1.60 and remove liability at 2.20. Lay the set 1 winner.
