Update: Cilic ‘s start price was 1.65. Altmaier served first. The first 4 games were holds of serve. Altmaier served at 2-2. He faced 2 break points but recovered to hold.

In the next game, Cilic was broken to 30. I placed a small lay on Altmaier at 1.45. Altmaier then held to 15. Cilic served at 2-5 and went 15-40 behind. I hedged for a loss at 1.29. Cilic was broken and Altmaier won the set.

Stats for the set were weak for Cilic. 56% of points won on first serve and 33% on second serve. Altmaier’s stats were much stronger. 72% of first serve points won and 75% of second serve points won. Both had faced 2 break points.

I did not want to go against my favoured player. Poor serve stats from Cilic was a bad sign. I did not enter again and accepted the small loss.

The second set was very tight. Only one game contained break points. Cilic served at 2-3. He saved the first break point but Altmaier took the second one. That was enough to give him the set and the match.

Altmaier won 6-2, 6-3.

Update: They started priced at 2.00. Blockx served first. The first 3 games were holds with no break points. Hanfmann served at 1-2 and went 15-40 behind. I laid Blocks at 1.56. Hanfmann recovered to hold. I removed all liability at 1.95, leaving the green on Hanfmann.

The next 3 games were holds. Before Hanfmann served at 3-4, he had a medical time out to deal with a cut on his knee which was caused by a fall. The Blockx price dropped from 1.71 to 1.51 because of the medical timeout. I placed a small lay at 1.51 Despite Hanfmann holding serve to get to 4-4, the market didn’t bounce back as he seemed to be struggling.

The next 2 games were holds. The market remained low on Blocks. My liability was low so I waited for a chance to get out at a better price. I would probably have been wiser to hedge for the profit that I had from the earlier trade.

Blocks served at 5-5, Blocks was taken to deuce and his price hit 1.75. I hedged. He was taken to deuce twice but did not face a break point.

Hanfmann then held to 0 to take the set into a tie break. Blockx took a 5-0 lead in the tie break and won it 7-2.

I wasn’t really interested in the second set. I would not have laid Blockx at the start of the second set anyway but when Hanfmann was broken tin the first game, I left the match alone after that.

Hanfmann wasn’t really competitive in the set. His best effort was taking Blockx to deuce in the second game. Blockx got a late break to get to 5-2 and easily served out the match.

Blockx won 7-6, 6-2.
