Siegemund faced a break point at 30-40. Pliskova’s price moved to 1.58. If I was going to lay Pliskova, I wanted a better price. I waited for a break. Siegemund saved the break point but faced another and was broken. I laid Pliskova at 1.46.

Pliskova faced a break point at 30-40. I removed some liability at 1.62. She saved the break point but faced another and was broken. I removed the rest of the liability at 1.78. I left the green on Pliskova.

Siegemund served first in set 2. She was broken to 15. Laying a player who is a set and a break ahead is usually an excellent entry point. I needed to see if Siegemund could show some improvement before getting involved. I currently had a free bet on Pliskova.

Pliskova held to 0. Siegemund then held to 15. That was enough to tempt me in for a lay of Pliskova. It was risk free due to the profit from the first set. I laid Pliskova at 1.11.
