Montgomery has come through the qual rounds. 3 sets win over Kasatkina as huge underdog in the 1st round.

Minnen reached the 2nd round last year. This week, she has come through the qual rounds. 2 sets win over Tjen in the 1st round.
CH title in June 2025.

2026 stats on all surfaces favour Montgomery on serve.
12 month grass stats also favour her on serve.
Lay Minnen around 1.40 and remove liability at 1.80.

She reached the 2nd round at Wimbledon 2025. Quarter finals in Nottingham 2025.

Fernandez lost in the 1st round last season.

Update: The start was delayed by rain. Fernandez served first and held to 0

The next 2 games were easy holds.

Boulter was broken to 15. I placed a small lay of Fernandez at 1.50. I was concerned about further rain delays so held back some of my stake.

The next 5 games were holds with no break points. Fernandez took the set. She was priced at 1.35/1.36.

Even though there was only 1 break point in the set, There were signs that Boulter’s serve may be vulnerable in the next set. Her first serve percentage was on the low side at 53%. Fernandez had very strong serve stats, losing just 3 points on serve.

I decided to leave the small lay to run into the second set. Boulter served first. She faced a break point at 30-40 but recovered to hold.

The next 4 games were holds with no break points.

Fernandez faced a break point at 40-A. I hedged for a small green at 1.69. This wasn’t the most exciting match ever!. Fernandez saved the break point and held.

I would have exited if the score reached 4-4. However, the match was then suspended due to rain. They will resume on Tuesday.
