Frech 1-0 (June 2023, grass, 3 sets). Clay win %’s favour Teichmann.

Teichmann reached the 2nd round last season. 2 sets win over Samsonova as underdog in the 1st round.
Semi final in Rabat 2026. Final in Iasi 2025.

Frech reached the 2nd round last year. In the 1st round, Ruse retired in set 2.
2nd round in Strasbourg 2026.

12 month stats and 2026 stats favour Teichmann overall.
Lay Frech around 1.40 and remove liability at 1.80. Chance of 3 sets.

Match prediction: Teichmann in 3 sets.

Frech was taken to deuce 7 times and had to save 2 break points but managed to hold serve.

The next 2 games were holds with no break points.

Teichmann was broken to 30. I laid Frech at 1.39.

Teichmann went 0-40 behind. As I was favouring her in the pre match assessment and would therefore be laying Frech after she took the set, I laid Frech at 0-40 at 1.16. Teichmann saved the 3 break points and went on to hold serve. Frech’s price reached 1.25.

Frech served for the set and went 0-40 behind. I removed liability at 1.52, leaving the green in Teichmann. Frech was broken to 15.

Teichmann held serve to 30. Frech was then broken to 30 to give the set to Teichmann. I hedged at 1.54 on Teichmann’s ladder (2.86 on Frech’s ladder).

Stats for the set were fairly even. Teichmann had the stronger second serve points won percentage. Set winners often (not always) have the better 2nd serve points won percentage.

Teichmann served first in the second set. I laid her at 1.55. She faced a break point at 40-A. I backed her at 1.73 using the same stake that I had used to lay. This increased my green on Teichmann. She recovered to hold.

Teichmann again faced break point at 40-A. Again, she recovered to hold.

Frech went 0-40 behind. I laid Teichmann at 1.22. The lay was risk free due to the existing profit. Frech saved 2 of the break points but was broken to 30.

Teichmann was broken to 15. I hedged at 1.44.

Frech was broken to 0. I laid Teichmann at 1.11. She would be serving for the match. I didn’t use much of my profit to cover the lay liability. If Teichmann started the next game well, there would be no chance to exit.

Teichmann was broken to 30. I hedged at 1.36.

Frech was broken again to give Teichmann the set.
6-4

Teichmann won 7-5, 6-4.

12 month stats and stats for their last 10 favour Baptiste on serve. Chance of 3 sets.
Lay Krejcikova around 1.65 and remove liability at 2.10.

Match prediction: Baptiste in 3 sets.

Update: At the start of the match, Baptiste was priced at 1.83.

Even the tie break was tight! Baptiste had a set point but didn’t take it. Krejcikova won the tie break 9-7

Stats for the set were pretty even overall. Baptiste had the lower first serve percentage but had the better second serve points won percentage. You won’t see a much tighter set in WTA.
Krejcikova was priced at 1.46/1.47 after the set.

Baptiste served first in the second set. She had not faced a break point in the first set. I laid Krejcikova at 1.47 with half stake. I would enter the rest of my stake after her service game. Baptiste was broken from 40-0. I laid the rest of my stake at 1.27.

Krejcikova went 0-40 behind. Her price moved to 1.57. I removed half my liability. I removed the rest of the liability at 1.70 when she was broken, leaving the green on Baptiste.

Krejcikova faced 2 break points but recovered to hold serve. They went into another tie break.

I took my Baptiste free bet onto the tie break. Krejcikova had 2 match points but could not take them. Baptiste had 1 set point at 7-6 which she took.

Stats for the second set arguably favoured Krejcikova overall. Baptiste only faced 1 break point.

Baptiste was priced at 1.48/1.49. I laid Baptiste at 1.49 to move a small amount of green to Krejcikova. Krejcikova was serving first in the 3rd set. She was broken and I hedged at 1.22.
