TradeShark is one the most recognised and trusted brands in Betfair Tennis Trading.
I’m Paul Shires. I have taught a huge number of people how to trade the tennis markets on the Betfair Exchange. Many have gone on to trade full time and a lot more now make a second income from home.
I discovered Betfair trading in 2008 and soon decided that tennis would be a good fit as the best sport to trade. I played tennis to a decent standard as a teenager and have always loved the sport.
I started trying to find ways to make money in the tennis markets. In the early days I just found ways to get money consistently without a huge amount of thought about value. I learned fast and in a little over 2 years I left my job to trade full time.
I have a good head for numbers and am perhaps the most stubborn person you would ever meet. I just don’t quit!
I had a 20 year career in retail management and by far my biggest strength was training and coaching others. I set up many teams from scratch and also took over existing teams and instilled my own standards in them.
That experience makes me the ideal person to teach you how to trade tennis on Betfair.
The blog was set up so that I could pass on what I was learning about trading. I had been frustrated in the early months that there was no one who was prepared to share their knowledge. The Trading Course was released in 2009 and I expected it to have a 6 month shelf life. I had no idea that it was going to grow as much as it has. If I can keep saving people the time that I wasted learning everything from scratch then it will continue to be a success 🙂
The Trading Course today bears little resemblance to the one I released in 2009. It is constantly being updated and added to so that it remains current.
I’m a typical Yorkshireman as you’ll see from my no nonsense approach to trading, teaching trading and life. I have little time for free loaders who want everything done for them but if someone makes an effort to help themselves they will get my help, advice and respect.
I was brought up to have very strong ideas of right and wrong and of how things should be done. That extends to my blog, Telegram chatroom and website www.tradesharktennis.com . Comments will be moderated but I welcome criticism as long as it’s constructive. Abuse will not make it onto the site. If you think I’m a tosser, why are you reading my posts?
The daily match tips are based on the analysis that I do for myself. As I stated above I played tennis to a decent standard when I was younger and am constantly surprised at how accurately I can read a match in-play. This is obviously a huge advantage when trading!
I hope my posts and my articles are of use. If they’re not then please tell me what you would like to see and I will do my best to accommodate you 🙂
In 2015 I started the Trading Tips service. I give a preview and trading advice for every main tour match each day and email it to subscribers every morning. I don’t know of any service that offers this same information for EVERY match.
It takes good time management to get all the matches researched and sent out in good time while trading. It is proving very popular and new subscribers are always welcome!
I also have a YouTube channel where I share my knowledge and show off my trading.

TradeShark Tennis was given 2 awards in Feb 2012. These were voted for by readers of www.laybackandgetrich.com
The service received ANOTHER Oscar from www.laybackandgetrich.com in 2017. Again it was unexpected. This time it won ‘Best (Other Sport) System’
There was more to come in 2018 and 2019 when the service was again given the award for Best Other Trading Product
In 2020, TradeShark Tennis won again!

could you tell me what happened with your LIvescore (http://www.sb.tradesharktennis.com/) It doesn,t work.
Hopefully that is a temporary problem. Unfortunately the guy behind it is really busy with his own work ( he does the sb for free)
I would love to bet on tennis but I am from the US. Do you know of any services that accept US citizens?
Its the laws in your country that prevent in play betting on the exchanges. Until those laws change there’s not a lot you can do.
