Juvan has come through the qual rounds this week. She has made a decent start to 2022 and reached the quarter finals in Adelaide last month. She has had very limited success indoors in the last few seasons with just 1 main draw win in 2021.

Van Uytvanck won the indoor Challenger title in Limoges in Dec. She reached the q finals in Linz in Nov and took the title in Nur Sultan in October.

Tsitsipas 3.3 v Medvedev 1.43

Medvedev 6-1. Most recent June 2021, clay, Tsitsipas in straight sets. Medvedev won their match at the Australian Open 2021, straight sets. Medvedev won all 4 of their hard court matches. Tsitsipas took a set in each of their 2 hard court matches in 2018.

Hard court win percentages are strong for both players but favour Medvedev. He has won 43 of his last 50. Tsitsipas won 38 of 50.

It was a very easy win for Tsitsipas over Sinner in the last round. The roof was closed which changed conditions. Tsitsipas played a superb match. Can he match that level again today?

Medvedev has had to work very hard in some of his matches. In the last round he was 2 sets down against Auger Aliassime. Kyrgios and Cressy both took sets from him.

Stats for the tournament are very even. Both have served extremely well. I expect Medvedev to win but he won’t have an easy match. Back him above 1.95 and remove liab at 1.45. Lay set 1 winner.
