Summer in the UK. Naturally both tournaments suffering with rain delays.
WTA AEGON International, 15:00 – Bouchard v Riske
Bouchard’s poor season continues. She has won 1 of her last 10 matches. Several of her losses have gone to 3 sets though and she has played well for periods of most matches. She will win one eventually and grass seems the most likely surface.
Riske has played well on the grass in recent weeks. She reached the semi finals in Nottingham. She lost a close match in Birmingham to Mladenovic. She had an impressive win over Cornet in the last round.
Bouchard isn’t going to continue losing and she has been getting nearer. This should be close and can go either way. I will look to lay Riske if she goes an early break up. I can see this going to 3 sets so I will also lay the 1st set winner.
