ATP Swiss Open, 12:00 – Bellucci beat Delbonis in April but Delbonis leads the head to heads 3-1.
Bellucci has only won a second round match once since February. Delbonis knocked him out in the first round last year when Bellucci was defending champion.
Delbonis’ form has been a little patchy this season but I think he takes this one. he had what turned out to be a comfortable win over Brown in the last round and played some good tennis.
Delbonis starts at 1.61 which is a little too low but anything over 1.80 becomes value for me.
WTA Baku Cup, 13:00 – Cepelova has been getting good results against lower ranked players but failing as soon as she meets someone with more experience. Her opponent today is ranked below her but has a great deal of experience.
Parmentier can play at a level well above her ranking of 95 and reached the 4th round at the French Open. She beat an injured Dulgheru in the first round this week.
8th seed Cepelova starts at 1.58 but if Parmentier serves well we can easily see that price go above evens.
I’ll take Cepelova to win the match but will wait until she goes an early break down.
Well we have a nice trade on Cepelova but she is fading fast having lost the set in a tie break. Delbonis too isn’t having a good day.
ATP Croatia Open, 19:00 – Robredo starts as favourite against Ramos but I don’t think he will have an easy match.
They have played twice before and the series is 1-1 with Ramos taking the most recent meeting which was last season.
Recently Robredo has been solid on serve but if a set is close he is more likely to be the one to throw in a poor service game.
Ramos is certainly able to keep the sets close. He has been in great form on the clay although has spent a lot of time on the Challenger clay in the last few weeks.
I think this one goes very close and could easily go to a deciding set. I am slightly favouring Ramos to take it though and will look for a lay on Robredo below 1.40 in the early games.
