If anyone has not received their Shark Tips, Wins a set or Trading spreadsheet email today please email me. A few don’t seem to have got them.

Today’s Trading spreadsheet has previews and trading advice for all 32 Miami matches.

ATP Miami Open, 16:30 – Nieminen v L Mayer

Nieminen leads the head to heads 2-0. Their most recent was in 2014 on an  indoor hard court and he won in straight sets. Their other match was on clay and went to 3 sets..

Nieminen reached the second round last year. Mayer has never won a match in Miami in 4 visits. These courts should slightly favour Mayer. He hasn’t played Miami since 2013. His form has improved a great deal since then and I think he can keep this very close today.

Nieminen served well in the first round but his second serve was weak.

I can see this one going to 3 sets. It is tough to call the winner but value is on Nieminen.

WTA Miami Open, 18:30 – Lisicki v Goerges

Head to heads are 1-1 but they haven’t played since 2011. Both matches were on clay.

The season stats favour Goerges.

Lisicki reached the semi finals last week in Indian Wells. Goerges lost in the 1st round to Watson. Goerges has served well in most of her matches this year but if she serves badly she is really poor.

Lisicki took ages to get her season going and now she has I think her confidence will be sky high. I favour her today. I would prefer a price above 2.00 before backing her.

ATP Miami Open, 21:00 – Gulbis v Monaco

Monaco leads the head to heads 3-2. Their only recent match was 2014 at the Australian Open. Gulbis won in 4 sets.

Gulbis has not won a match in Miami in his last 4 visits.

Monaco reached the semis in 2012 but lost in the first round the last 2 years. He is in the better form at the moment and the court speed should help him. I would prefer a price above 2.10 before backing him. he starts around 1.80 .
