ABN Amro – World Tennis – Friday

11:30 – Ljubicic v Baghdatis

Rankings are 15 and 20. Head to heads are 5-1 to Baghdatis.

Baggy has been in impressive form this week beating Murray and Lopez who was serving well especially in the first set.

Ljubicic had a tricky 1st round match with Stakhovsky but came through it well. He took care of Frenchman Paire in straight sets yesterday whilst hardly breaking sweat.

The head to head here is hard to ignore though they haven’t played for 2 years.

The difference between them will be Baghdatis’ serve. It has been quite strong this week and that needs to continue for him today.

Back Baggy or both players on serve. If you’re feeling brave back Baghdatis from the start as I think he will be too strong for Ljubicic. It could be a tight first set though.

Update: Baghdatis’ serve wasn’t  quite up to the task today and Ljubicic generally served very well. Having said that he had a chance to serve for the match at the end of the second set tie break but wasted it and then lost the set.

In a very tight deciding set it was Ljubicic who came through the tie break.

Ljubicic won 6-4, 6-7, 7-6.

  1. Hi,

I am quite new to tennis trading(which im sure you have heard a thousand times). The last couple of days I have been quite succesful watching tennis on betfair and trading service games and 15/40 scorelines with £10 stakes. I traded the brazilian mens final yesterday and made £4.04 lol – do you think is low when using £10 stakes? However when i dont have live streaming via betfair I am terrible as sometimes the scores dont update quick enough and I sometimes use my judgement when trading which I cannot via watching a scoreboard. So two questions.

1.do you recommend scoreboard trading if so which scoreboards should i use – i have heard bet365 is the best?
2.I am no way new to trading as i do alot of football, however will your package that you offer benefit me from games to trade to good training videos.

I have not seen a bad word about you sir on the tinterweb so well done as i always do my homework before considering buying a guide of somesort. Hope to here from you soon,

    Steve

    1. Hi Steve,
Scoreboard trading is fine as long as the scoreboards are quick and reliable. if I dont have live pics I use 2 scoreboards at once. I use bet365 and also the one from http://www.atpworldtour.com .
Every sport is different and has to be learned thoroughly for you to be consistently profitable. I am confident my guide will help you.
Any trade that brings 10% of your stake/liability is good so £4 from a £10 stake (40%) is excellent!
