Due to start at 2 pm.
Seppi 2.56, Klizan 1.62
Seppi leads their previous matches 3-2. The last time they met was on an indoor hard court in Rotterdam in February this year. Klizan won in straight sets.
Much better results this year for Klizan. He leads 74% to 54% in matches won. He has a similar lead indoors.
Seppi had some excellent results in the first half of the season. In February in Rotterdam after he was beaten by Klizan in the qualifying rounds he went on to reach the semi semi finals. In June he reached the quarter finals in Halle, Germany on grass but since then he has never been beyond the second round and has won 4 of 9 matches.
Klizan is having a strong season. His successes in the early months were in Challengers but in April he reached two main draw quarter finals on clay in Barcelona and Munich. In July he won the title on clay in Kitzbuhel, Austria. Last month he reached the Final in St Petersburg indoors.
The sets will be close but I have to go with Klizan to win. Back him around 1.85.
