ATP Wimbledon, Quarter Final: Berdych v Pouille

This is their first meeting.

Berdych won 86% of points on his 1st serve in the last round but was still taken to 5 sets by Vesely. He has only managed 1 straight sets win so far.

Pouille has been one of the surprises of the tournament. He has been able to take advantage of tired opponents in the last 2 rounds. Del Potro was struggling for match fitness and Tomic had looked tired in his previous match and had problems on 2nd serve against Pouille. He faced 22 break points and was broken 5 times in their 5 sets.

I have to go with Berdych’s experience and I think he takes this in 4 sets. No value unless he gets broken first and then Pouille holds.
