08:00 – Kleybanova v Rybarikova
Rankings are 27 and 45. They have never met.
Kleybanova should be a strong favourite here but she hasn’t been having a great time recently. I still think she’ll win it even though her opponent has had a couple of quarter final appearances in the last month.
Could be close and with Klaybanova’s price starting at 1.60 the 15-40 method should work well.
Update: More one sided than I expected. Klaybanova won 6-1, 6-2
15:30 – Andreev v Ginepri
Rankings are 41 and 92. Head to head is 1-0 to Ginepri but that was on clay.
Today’s fast indoor court will suit Andreev much more.
His first serve percentage is 60 and he wins 80% of his service games. He also saves 60% of break points.
Back Andreev on serve.
Update: Unfortunately Andreev took a while to get his serve going. This lost him the first set 6-3. He improved it to take the second set to a tie break which he won.
The deciding set was also close and ended with another tie break but this time it was Ginepri who held it together to take the match 6-3, 6-7, 7-6
