Murray v Tsonga
Murray is a strong favourite at 1.26 which seems way too low ( yes I know I said that yesterday too!). I was looking forward to a Murray / Federer semi when Fed was 5-1 up in the final set. But Tsonga had other ideas and came back to win the match on a tie break.
Tsonga hasn’t had a great season so far but he seems ready to change that this week. Murray hasn’t really been tested but I would be surprised if this one is a walkover. Tsonga injured his racquet arm and wrist againt Federer but it didnt seem to stop him playing well. Whether it has stiffened over night is another matter.
I expect Murray to come through but Tsonga can, on his day, give the Scot a run for his money.
Scalping will be my strategy.
Update: Very close match with Murray winning 6-4, 7-6 . 2 15-40 opportunities were both successful in the first set and scalping service games in the second brought a decent profit.
Congrats to Murray as that win will move him to world number 2 when the updated list is announced on Monday.
