09:30 – Nadal v Davydenko (Live on bet365.com)
Rankings are 2 and 8. Head to heads are 4-2 to Nadal.
Davydenko has won their last 2 matches on hard courts. Nadal isn’t 100% yet but he’s getting there.
His opponents in the last 2 rounds have retired so he should be feeling fresh for the final.
Davydenko had a great match against Djokovic in the semi so this should be another good one.
Nadal wins 85% of his service games to Davydenko’s 82%. He saves 66% of break points to Davydeno’s 62%.
They are 2 of the best receivers with Nadal winning 35% of games against serve to Davydenko’s 32%.
Back Nadal on serve. Watch the first couple of Davydenko’s service games to see how Nadal deals with it. If he is holding serve comfortably you have the option of backing Davy ‘s serve too.
Obviously Nadal is expected to win but Davydenko won’t be rolling over for him.
Update: Great final! Nadal not quite at his best but thats to take nothing away from Davydenko who played some fantastic tennis. Straight sets win 7-6, 6-4.
I was green on Davydenko for £65 ish towards the end of the second set but bottled out when Nadal looked like coming back. Ended with £30 instead but a profit’s a profit 🙂
