Swedish Open – Thurs

Suarez Navarro v Martinez Sanchez

SN is favourite and priced at 1.51. She is ranked 22 places above her opponent but at 32 in the world, still isn’t consistent. This makes the match perfect for the 15-40 method.

SN is more comfortable on clay than her opponent and I think she will start the match strongly. Could be a close match overall but you could back SN from the start and green up after a break of serve.

Update: Well Suarez Navarro racd to a 1-4 defiicit and played like a dog ( which is quite apt as she has to be the UGLIEST tennis player on the tour). She then came back and won 5 games on the trot to take the set. She started to fall apart in the second and I suspect she caught a glimpse of her reflection which understandably scared the shit out of her and she lost the final set 6-0.

The graph of Martinez’ price shows the opportunities.

I traded this one with small stakes to show you can still make a worthwhile profit. I didnt green up across both players as Martinez was easily on top in the 3rd set

Dulko v Cibulkova

Cibulkova has won their previous 3 meetings and is a strong fabvourite on the market at 1.45. In yesterday’s match Dulko started very well serving at 80% (first serves) in the first set but she wobbled later in the match.

I would expect the first set to be close with Cibulkova’s price moving out a little. This also makes it a good one for 15-40 .

Cibulkova is ranked 12 and her consistency will be too strong for Dulko. Maybe a 3 setter but Cibulkova should progress in the tournament.

Update: 3 setter with Dulko nicking it in a tiebreak. Was only able to trade the first set due to internet problems. A bit disappointed to miss the crazy price swings of the 3rd set!
