Zandschulp has won 33 of his last 50 clay matches. He reached the quarter finals in ATP Marrakech earlier this month. Last season he had a lot of Challenger success on clay. He reached the second round of the French Open as qualifier.

Update: Zandschulp broke serve in the first game. He could not hold on to the lead and Nakashima broken back to 2-2. The set was very close after that. Zandschulp’s price hit 2.34 when he faced a break point when serving at 3-4. He held serve and they went to a tie break. Nakashima took an early lead in the tie break but Zandschulp won it.
The second set was a little scrappy but Zandschulp was always ahead. He won 7-6, 6-3.
