These predictions are aimed at traders rather than punters. When assessing a match, I initially look for 2 things. Who do I think will win and how competitive will the other player be? Use them for straight bets if you wish but please bear in mind that is not what they are intended for.

Frech was taken to deuce 7 times and had to save 2 break points but managed to hold serve. 1-1
The next 2 games were holds with no break points. 2-1 2-2
Teichmann was broken to 30. I laid Frech at 1.39. 2-3
The next 3 games were holds with no break points. 2-4 3-4 3-5
Teichmann went 0-40 behind. As I was favouring her in the pre match assessment and would therefore be laying Frech after she took the set, I laid Frech at 0-40 at 1.16. Teichmann saved the 3 break points and went on to hold serve. Frech’s price reached 1.25. 4-5
Frech served for the set and went 0-40 behind. I removed liability at 1.52, leaving the green in Teichmann. Frech was broken to 15. 5-5
Teichmann held serve to 30. Frech was then broken to 30 to give the set to Teichmann. I hedged at 1.54 on Teichmann’s ladder (2.86 on Frech’s ladder). 6-5 7-5
Stats for the set were fairly even. Teichmann had the stronger second serve points won percentage. Set winners often (not always) have the better 2nd serve points won percentage.
Teichmann served first in the second set. I laid her at 1.55. She faced a break point at 40-A. I backed her at 1.73 using the same stake that I had used to lay. This increased my green on Teichmann. She recovered to hold. 1-0
Frech Held to 0 1-1
Teichmann again faced break point at 40-A. Again, she recovered to hold. 2-1
The next 2 games were holds with no break points. 2-2 3-2
Frech went 0-40 behind. I laid Teichmann at 1.22. The lay was risk free due to the existing profit. Frech saved 2 of the break points but was broken to 30. 4-2
Teichmann was broken to 15. I hedged at 1.44. 4-3
Frech was broken to 0. I laid Teichmann at 1.11. She would be serving for the match. I didn’t use much of my profit to cover the lay liability. If Teichmann started the next game well, there would be no chance to exit. 5-3
Teichmann was broken to 30. I hedged at 1.36. 5-4
Frech was broken again to give Teichmann the set. 6-4
Teichmann won 7-5, 6-4.
