Baez has a much stronger clay win percentage. He won 39 of his last 50 matches. He has come through the qualifying rounds. He needed 3 sets in both rounds after losing the first set in each match. He beat Hanfmann in a 3rd set tie break in the last round. He reached the quarter finals in ATP Cordoba 2 weeks ago. He had a lot of clay Challenger success last season.

Monteiro won 28 of his last 50 on clay. He reached the second round last week in Buenos Aires, losing out to Verdasco in 3 sets. He aslo had a lot of success in clay Challengers in 2021.

Back Baez above 2.00 and remove liability around 1.55. Back Baez if he loses set 1.

First round
Cressy 1.58 v Millman 2.68
Due to start at 7:30 pm

1st meeting. Overall win percentages favour Cressy. Cressy has better long term results on hard courts and better results in the last 12 months.

Cressy reached the 4th round at the Aus Open and the final in Melbourne in Jan. He prefers indoor courts and has had a lot of Challenger success indoors in the last few months.

Millman reached the q finals in Washington in Aug. He also seems to prefer indoor courts.

If Millman serves well he can keep the sets close. Back Cressy above 1.95 and remove liability around 1.50.

Update: It was a very tight 1st set. Cressy served at 5-5 and went 0-40 down. We got our entry price. He held serve and the set went to a tie break, which Cressy won. That gave us the entry price and when he went 2-0 up in the tie break we got out exit price.

All 3 sets went to tie break. Millman won 6-7, 7-6, 7-6.
